Panasonic's New MFT GF1

A few years ago Panasonic and Olympus agreed to work together to introduce a new type of camera, the Micro Four Thirds. It would offer a big sensor, interchangeable lenses and top image quality in a compact package.

Panasonic beat Olympus to market by quite a bit with the G1. But it wasn't really that small. not as small as the tech promised. Olympus' EP-1, now on shelves, is a gorgeous retro camera, and did come in a smaller factor.

Panasonic will surely release their own genuinely compact MFT. Is the photo below, of a GF1 model, the camera in question? We'll have to wait and see.
