Fuji Finepix F70 EXR

Should I buy the Lumix FZ38, my eye would then turn to a replacement for my trusty Panasonic TZ5 at some date in the future. I thought I'd found the ideal candidate in this new Fuji with its super duper EXR tech. It's a travel zoom with a 27mm-270mm 10x lens, and small compact design. A worthwhile amount smaller than the TZ5 in fact. Plus, it has full manual control options. And is priced well. It's failing? No HD video mode! Come on Fuji, it's 2009...
