Waiting For The Shot

Sometimes you have to wait a while to get the shot you want. I waited and waited, but never did, sadly, get the shot I wanted. I just couldn't get my camera out of my pocket quick enough when I saw a jumbo jet flying low and disappearing behind the World Trade Center in Mexico.

And after loitering for a half hour, at the receiving end of some suspcious stares from a nearby security guard, I gave up. This was as good as I got, along with a few other shots. Patience is truly a virtue in photography. I have plenty. My wife, who was with me, has much less.
