I do love Flickr and have few complaints. But there are a few. Why not let me use my own domain name for one. But far more irritating for me is their slow addition of new cameras to their
Camera Finder feature. It's an excellent way of finding photos taken by a particular model, and although there are other ways to find sample snaps, this
should be the easiest and most accurate resource available.
The Sony HX1 and Olympus EP-1 Pen, to name but now, are now out on sale and are contributing photos to Flickr. But they are not listed on Camera Finder. How hard is it to list new models immediately, not weeks later? It can't be that hard. More to the point, my use of this feature, and other people want it for the same I imagine, is to see shots taken by the latest models. Come on Flickr, keep up!
